A few months ago, I encountered the word ‘Catharsis’. Not only a pretty word, but one with a fantastic meaning. A formal word originating in ancient Greece, it describes the release of strong emotions.
Conscious connected breathing can serve as a powerful tool for catharsis by leveraging the breath to release strong emotions that are bottled up inside of you. This cleansing might feel tough, but in the long run, it’s well worth it.
